Passing time at The Taste of Sydney

We have big plans for Cheeky Chickies this year and we are especially looking forward to our adding more gorgeous styles and colours to the range in time for Spring/Summer 09. In September, we will be exhibiting at the Sydney Baby Show. The Baby Show is designed and created by Single Market Events, the organisers of Sydney Fashion Weekend, Top Gear Live and The Taste Festivals and launched in association with ACP Parenting Magazines (Mother & Baby, Practical Parenting and Wonder Time), the market leaders in parenting media. The Baby Show is a major new 3 day event taking place in Sydney on the 18-20 September 2009, at the Royal Hall of Industries. The show is designed especially for pregnant women, mums with newborns and young families with babies and toddlers.

The Baby Show will provide parents with a fresh, fun and invaluable day out with the chance to try and buy all the essentials to give their baby the best start in life. With hundreds of stands to shop from and special features such as our dedicated 'Baby Porters', The 'Romp and Stomp' play area for toddlers and our 'Main Stage' featuring catwalk shows and live presentations from leading experts, The Baby Show is the ideal place to find all the essentials and the little luxuries for your pregnancy, baby or toddler. http://www.thebabyshow.com.au/

As an exhibitor, we were invited to attend The Taste of Sydney, being held at Centennial Park over this weekend. The rain only just held off, but we had a great day out, sampling gorgeous fine foods from Sydney's best chefs, and checking out the yummiest produce from their farmers market. Highlights were our Moussaka of Eggplant, Sea Scallop and Taramasalata from Civic Dining, the Etli Borek - crisp home made filo rolls filled with braised veal shank, currants and pinenuts, served with pomegranate and yogurt sauce from Ottoman Cuisine, the finest Bolivian Dark Chocolate from Zokoko, soft and scrumptious mozzarella from The Loaded Larder, the most divinely presented cupakes from Sparkle Cupcakery, Mali's pick of the Day - Belgium Chocolate Gelato from Sublime Gelato, and Nate's pick of the day, a nice cold Amber from James Squires Brewery. http://www.tastefestivals.com.au/

Top Marks to Single Market Events and a big thanks to Stacey for inviting us along!
